Politics only enters when science fails.

Evidence-based politics, based on scientific analysis, do not have the same conflicts that we have today.

Scientifically determined public policies will always bring costs versus benefits, gainers and losers, and so on.

That’s why Think Tanks are essential for public discussions, where the arena is organized and evidence-based.

In Brazilian politics everything is violent because all debates are based on the assumption of all or nothing.

If we had evidence-based politics, everything would be a win-win.

Only in cases where science failed to show good results would ideology come into play. “We want everything for the workers” or “we cannot harm companies”.

The possibility of a win-win is not even analyzed.

Hence our interest in stimulating the growth and emergence of non-partisan, independent Think Tanks, with multidisciplinary specialists to find win-win solutions absent from party ideology.
